E3 wrapped up last week and we are majorly impressed. Gamers from around the world came to live-stream, demo games, and participate in brand activations. Some, and we mean most, of these activations had a 90+ minute line. To all the gamers that waited: we salute your patience and perseverance.
We had the opportunity to check out 2K’s Borderlands 3 activation (big shout out to our 2K client for the line cutting perk) To introduce the newest installment in the franchise, 2K started with a 10 minute “formal” presentation introducing fans to the newest planets, customization options and the newest Vault Hunter, Moze. Following the presentation, fans could demo the game itself – not set to release for another 3 months! Fans who completed the experience were gifted a Borderlands 3 bag filled with enough swag so the mayhem doesn’t stop!
Some honorable mentions include Fortnite’s “Jeopardy” game, Nintendo’s massive activation and Arcade 1up’s huge arcade game. Check out some of our photos from the day!
